Developer Wargaming has released the first trailer and some gorgeous screenshots for naval battle game World of Warships: Legends, which will feature fast-paced 9v9 combat with historically accurate warships. The game will also include commanders with a variety of playstyles and perks, which players can level up and use on a range of different ships.

From March 22 through 24 players can take part in the final closed beta test for World of Warships Legends. According to Wargaming, over 200,000 battles were fought during the December closed beta test. The publisher is hoping to break that record during this final closed beta period. To have a chance to play during the closed beta, simply register at the official website. This second closed beta period will include the British, 14 additional ships and Russian and French language support.

The World of Warships: Legends Premium, Deluxe, and Ultimate packages offer three different tiers of content to prepare early adopters for launch, with up to two months of Premium time and four rare, powerful warships included, Wargaming advised, though pricing was not detailed. During the beta, players will be able to take on the roles of Legendary Commanders such as US admiral Norman Scott and Japanese tactician Isoroku Yamamoto as they head into battle. Each of these will bring along different strengths, skills, and strategies, as well as their own vessels. As in the PC version of the game, here we take part in the clashes of two teams, among which the one who wins the enemy units or takes designated key positions on the map wins first.
